Choosing an Imaging Company

Receiving Diagnostic Imaging tests is an important part of your health and something you want to take very seriously. In choosing an imaging center it is important to ask the following questions:
  1. Is the facility accredited by the American College of Radiology?
  2. Is the Radiologist that is going to interpret your study fellowship trained in the area of MRI that is applicable to your study? If you are having a neurological study done you want a neuro radiologist to be interpreting your study. If you are having a musculoskeletal study done you want a musculoskeletal radiologist interpreting your study.
  3. How quickly can you get your results?
  4. Can the center provide both Open MRI and Closed MRI?
  5. Is the center properly equipped to care for you at every step of evaluation from non-invasive to invasive should it be required?
